"You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murder be released to you."
Acts 3:14
Righteous.
A word that can never describe us as humans. We are sinners. We can
never be right with God on our own. Once we believe that Jesus saved us
from the penalty of sin, we are washed by His blood, meaning all of our
sins are wiped away. Gone forever. We are a clean vessel to serve
God. We are now in a right relationship with God. Through Jesus'
righteousness we are made righteous!!
How
awesome is that?! All we have to do is believe and say "yes" to God.
Have you taken that first step and asked God to be part of your life and
given your life over to Him? You can go anytime to Him and ask for
forgiveness and He will respond with a loving embrace. Even if you are
already His, we need to be regularly cleansed from the filth that
infests our hearts.
Recently the Lord has been reminding me that I truly need DAILY cleansing of my heart. If I don't clean it out regularly it becomes hardened and black. I've been trying to be more open and honest with God (He knows everything already) because that forces me to face the condition of my heart.

How
will you praise Jesus because He has made you right with God? We can
have a real and personal relationship now because God sees us through
the lens of Jesus, the Pure and Holy One. Therefore, God sees us as
pure, holy, and righteous. Can I get an Amen?! THAT deserves praise
and worship from the rooftops.
In His Love,
