If you had only one verse from the Bible to share with others which one would it be?
There is John 3:16 which is a great summary and representation of the Gospel:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Recently I have found some other really powerful verses in Paul's letters. Here is one from Colossians 2:13:
"When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,...."
And another from 1 Thessalonians 4:16:
"For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
What are some of your favorite verses? When you go to share Scripture with others, is there a particular verse that you pull out of memory, or do you personalize it based on the situation and the person? I would love to hear from you :D
